The Longtang Poetry Society site is located opposite the Foshan Ancestral Temple. It is a place where literati and gentry in the Qing Dynasty made friends, wrote poems, danced and used ink. The architecture here has obvious characteristics of Lingnan architecture, it is worth visiting.
Free admission to visit. According to the signboard, the current site of Longtang Poetry Club is Li Zhongshengtang’s medicine store. Because its owner saw that the Poetry Club had no place to stand, he opened the garden to them for free. Then the Poetry Club site should be a garden instead of the beautiful one. Buildings? However, the appearance of the two-story house is a bit old, but it is a trace of its history. It is well maintained. Many tourists take pictures here. There is only one exhibit on the first floor, and there seems to be a tea house on the second floor.
The site of Longtang Poetry Society is located in the center of the famous Lingnan Tiandi in Foshan. It was a famous poetry school in Guangzhou in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. The owner of this place was originally a rich man in the wealthy side here. The literati and mosques chanted poems here and left many masterpieces. There is still a wall carved by poems at that time. There is also a small museum in the ruins, which exhibits many furniture and cultural relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is worth visiting.
A model of old city renovation. Not only has it been repaired as it was, it has also revitalized the area, bringing in businesses to bring people flow. No tickets required, worth a visit.
