I’ve never eaten such a delicious burger before, and it’s all vegetarian. I don’t feel like I can’t eat it at all. On the contrary, I am very interested in it and seem to want to eat it, so I want to eat it bite after bite. , It would be great if I could come here every day, I will definitely come again.
In such a prosperous place, it is really rare to have such a grounded restaurant. It has always maintained its uniqueness. I particularly appreciate this. My favorite food here is the steamed vegetables, vegetarian burgers and rice tofu. Everyone really wants to give it a try. If you miss it, you will regret it.
I can't believe I've walked past this place so many times. The location is so unassuming, like a thousand other lunch places in a corner of a big downtown location. I assumed it was just another quick lunch place for local office workers. I had breakfast there today and it's now my go to vegetarian place in Frankfurt. Had an omelet that was overflowing with fresh vegetables and a tasty smoothy, exactly what I needed. Coffee barrista looked like he knew what he was doing too, but I was already caffeinated.
I was greeted as I walked in by a smiling, friendly member of staff. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, I felt really relaxed eating there especially as I was on my own. The food was really tasty. I had the protein bowl, which I would definitely recommend.
Vevay offers unpretentious and delicious vegetarian fare with friendly staff and a comfortable ambiance, although one should not plan on a quick meal because the kitchen does take its time. The price of the drinks is also quite striking. A serious inconvenience with this establishment is that one cannot pay by card—which is becoming increasingly unforgivable in a city as international as Frankfurt.
So, the "experience" we've had with Vevay was less than ideal. Noise level was CRAZY!!! they had running screaming children all over the place, but the real problem is really the acoustics of the restaurant. Sitting there at 9pm and trying to have a conversation was almost impossible. The food- the menu is small, not too many starters some mains and a plate of everything which I took. They ran out of 3 things we wanted so we had to change our order. (again, not ideal.) The waitress was not as attntive as we wanted, we had to ask for silverware, for spoons to eat our soups and when we asked for a bottle of wine, we got.... a glass. They clearly need to regroup and find ways to get this place together. Otherwise, I don't see how they survive. Good luck.
