The best place to discover the kingdom of perrots wit or without chidren.You can see it From the terrasse view of the appartment.
I have gone to Jungle Island a couple of times, and those visits were really fun! Its both a zoo, and a learning center and, it's great if you have kids cause they are educated while also having a nice time in the place! You get to eat, look at all the animals, see some historic and interesting facts of each, and not feel like you have to rush everywhere! This is a great place for families and pretty much any age!
The Wynwood Walls was conceived by the renowned community revitalizer and placemaker, the late Tony Goldman in 2009. He was looking for something big to transform the warehouse district of Wynwood, and he arrived at a simple idea: "Wynwood's large stock of warehouse buildings, all with no windows, would be my giant canvases to bring to them the greatest street art ever seen in one place." Starting with the 25th–26th Street complex of six separate buildings, his goal was to create a center where people could gravitate to and explore, and to develop the area's pedestrian potential.
You might want to stop by here on your way to Miami Beach. But don’t be surprised if you find yourself spending the day. The former Parrot Jungle, which was originally located at today’s Pinecrest Gardens is an interactive zoological adventure with plenty of hands on activities. At the entrance you get to hold parrots, a snake or a gator. Of course they want to see you the picture, but just snap away yourself. The staff is super friendly and in the end, it’s all about the animals anyway. You walk through lush green from show to show, presenting birds, penguins and baby tigers. Feed the parrots on the way. You don’t have to be afraid of their beak; they gently will take the food by sticking out their soft black tongue. Other attractions are the kangaroo’s encounter, petting zoo and an obstacle course in the salty ocean water off Jungle Islands own private beach.
