Maizuru Park is a park symbolized by the ruins of Fukuoka Castle. With beautiful natural scenery throughout the four seasons, it is a beautiful park famous for cherry blossom viewing. The park also has sports facilities such as an athletics arena. It is located next to Ohori Park and Fukuoka City Art Museum.
Japanese parks are mostly mountain forests surrounding historical sites, and Maizuru Park in Fukuoka is no exception. Why add Fukuoka? Because there is also Maizuru Park in Shenma in Kyoto, this name should be a common name. Fukuoka mainly relies on Fukuoka Castle and Shrines, as well as a Nishi Park, which is close to the new landscape Ohori Park. The main feature is the urban green space, plus the cherry blossom viewing function necessary for Japanese parks.
Maizuru Park and Ohori Park are connected, and the one that looks like West Lake is Ohori. There is no need to find a door specially for the open park, just walk down the subway. It was Fukuoka's cherry blossom day when it arrived, and the cherry trees were full of local cherry blossom viewing people. There is a snack street in Wuhe Park, where you can enjoy the cherry blossoms while having a barbecue. There is an additional charge for Yezakura at night, 300 for one garden and 600 for three gardens. Looking at a garden, it was beautiful.
