This is my favourite restaurant in the whole world (as someone who travels a lot!). I came here with my fiance a year ago after finding it while researching for the famous Madeira steak on a stone, and this restaurant far exceeded our expectations. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is unbelievable. The steak on a stone comes with fresh warm bread and a big dish of garlic butter to start. Then the sizzling hot stone arrives and your server shows you how to cook the raw meat on the stone. The steak itself is the most beautiful buttery soft meat with zero tough bits, and you get a good size portion of fries to accompany it. My fiance and I have been talking about this meal since we last visited here, and it exceeded our expectations coming back for a second time. I already cannot wait for my next visit to this place for the best steak on a stone in the world.
