Gushan is a landmark attraction in Fuzhou. It is said that when Xi Dawei was employed in Fuzhou, he had climbed this mountain many times. The transportation to Gushan Scenic Area is convenient. There are subways and cable cars up and down the mountain. You can choose to hike up the mountain from the first pavilion of Minshan below the mountain. The stone steps are level all the way, and the vegetation on both sides of the road is lush. Rock carvings, climbing exercises, stop and go, to Yongquan Temple, 40 yuan ticket. Yongquan Temple was once the filming location of Guanyin Temple in the CCTV version of "Journey to the West". Step out of the temple gate and arrive at Yongquan Temple. In the parking lot, you can take a minibus down the mountain to the subway station at the bottom of the mountain, ten yuan per person.
The air was fresh and the view from the top breathtaking. It's better to come here by subway, the gate to Drum Mountain is just a few minutes away from the station. If you have a short time to visit, go to the mointain top in a cable car. It is 70 kuai roundtrip. Be aware though that the cable car ticket window opens at 8 am. Be sure to visit the temple at the top for an extra 40 kuai.
