Worth the climb.
After paying sincere respects at the RSL shrine of rememberence (Lest we forget.) We climbed the VERY narrow, VERY steep steps to the top of the rock. Spectacular views.
EXCELLENT SURFING LOCATION - LOUSY PARKING
This is by far, one of my favourite surfing spots .. but hey .. try getting a car park, sometime .. it's impossible
Scenery for miles
Can sit for hours watching the waves and taking in the scenery. Amazing part of the Goldie, a family fave.
Good views in both directions
The staircase up is hidden behind the surf club and surprisingly quite a steep but thankfully short flight of stairs. Great views both north towards Burleigh and south towards Tugun.
Must do
Mum and I went for a walk up the rock to see the beautiful view and we were lucky to see a whale! Must do spot! Steep walk so be careful
