Photos of Yuzhu Everest

Yuzhu Peak is 6178 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in the Kunlun Mountains. There are many peaks of about 5,000 meters on both sides, and modern glaciers are developed on the north and south slopes. The terrain is characterized by gentle south slopes and steep north slopes. The mountain-shaped landform of Yuzhu Peak is an entry-level route for snow mountain climbing. Its southern slope route is clear and clear, and the climbing technical requirements are relatively low, but the height of the base camp is relatively high, which is 4,800 meters above sea level. At the same time, the southern slope of Yuzhu Peak has been weathered into a steamed bread-shaped peak, with a gentle slope and no avalanche problem. The north slope is relatively complex, with various terrains such as ice cracks, ice tower forests, ice steep slopes, and blade-shaped ridges, which are especially suitable for mountaineering training activities of large troops.
