The fairy chimney is the most magical and unique landscape in the Cappadocia region. It is actually some extra-large conical rock formations. The soft rock resembles a tapered spire. The top of the minaret is given a softer basalt "hat" by nature. A variety of stone pillars of various shapes rise up, and there are strange hats on their heads. People think that they live in the elves, and they call them "immortal chimneys" or "elf chimneys." First, let's talk about how these fairy chimneys are formed. The eruption of the Elgiyes volcano in Cappadocia hundreds of millions of years ago, the lava erupted from the volcano changed the surrounding terrain, and several hundred meters of volcanic ash and lava piled up to form tuff and lava. Since then, the slowly weathered rock has created a unique tourist spectacle in the world. This root chimney is not only different in color but sometimes discolored. Some are light red, ochre or brown, while others are gray, khaki or milky white. The surface of the rock is very clean, and as the sun and clouds change, it changes its own color. These fairy chimneys are naturally formed, but they can also be said to be masterpieces created by Vulcan, Fengshen, Rain God and the old man of time. No matter how many chimneys you look at, you will never find two identical ones. They are so unique and unique.

Fairy Chimneys
Göreme Open Air Museum
One of the world's most beautiful towns, Turkey's Göreme town. Göreme is located in eastern Turkey, the westernmost point of the Asian continent, with unique landforms in the Cappadocia region, specifically in the province of Nevşehir in central Anatolia. Around the 14th century BC, the Hittite people lived here by carving caves, and the Hittite kingdom was once the most powerful country in western Asia. Göreme is a small town running north and south. It takes only half an hour to walk back and forth in the bustling area at the center of the town. Various small shops are scattered along the road, selling everything from cushion covers, felt hats, old doorbells, fridge magnets, postcards, to spinning begging bowls of monks. Whatever souvenir you want, you can find it here. The volcanic ash in Greyme has been weathered and eroded by rainwater for millions of years, forming countless strange rock formations that resemble both needle mushrooms and skinny chimneys, known as "fairy chimneys". In these seemingly barren cliffs, there are countless rock-cut churches, cave dwellings, and underground city ruins hidden. /Göreme's open-air museum is located in a valley, condensed with the characteristics and scenery of Cappadocia. It was once a gathering place for Christians after the 9th century. Many Christians took refuge in these caves, leaving murals on the walls and decorating the caves into churches. The walls of the caves still retain the images of characters from the Bible to this day, faintly discernible. /Attention! Introduce the super popular internet-famous carpet store, also the largest one in the town. It's very close to "Meihua Chinese Restaurant". From afar, you can see all kinds of beautiful carpets hanging at their door. It's even more amazing inside the store.
