Beautiful campground even in the Winter
While we picked a cold night (-15F with the windchill) this was one of the best camping experiences we have had. The staff at the ranger station were extremely helpful and the area is absolutely beau...
Great get away. Very quiet
Camp sites were not crowded. NO cell service of any kind. Internet in the Lake house and a 911 phone. If you want to get away for peace and quiet this is the place. Nice lake and walking trails.

I just stopped and did some hiking rather than staying overnight. There's plenty of secluded trails and lovely woodland scenery.
