I’ve traveled to Shimen catwalk scenic area in city Hanzhong in spring, pretty good season for being here. 🌸 The area is big and landscape is so beautiful. 💖 So many wonderful stone sculptures and exquisite figurines of people displayed behind the glass along the way. Nice spots for amazing pictures. We needed about 2 hours to fully explore this place. Loved it. Recommended to visit! #hiking #tripblazers #nationalpark #hanzhong

Lovers bridge at Shimen Scenic area in Hanzhong city. Well, yeah, scenic area in the valley without lovers bridge connecting two sides and lying above the river? Is it possible? No. And this is great idea for that place. When walking, the bridge is shaking that's pretty funny. Yes, this is very funny place. People Kiley play there and take a pictures. Shimen Dam, also called Shimen Reservoir is strategically important place for the Hanzhong city. That was my first time to come and see the Dam. It was very interesting to got to know how does it function. And area surrounding the Dam is admirable. Very good for taking pictures and for long distance walking. Not overcrowded. Fresh humid air makes the walking and climbing really pleasant. #holidayvacation

Hanzhong Shimen Catwalk Scenic Area. Hanzhong is a, small city located in place where Shaanxi province borders Sichuan. Yes, the city is surrounded by many hills and it's moderate climate allows to culture tea there. Well, this scenic area depicted below is one if the most important landmarks around the city. It easy to be reached by public transportation. Scenic spot includes installations, regional history introduction, sculptures, bridges and... of course serpent shaped pathways going through the hills behind the city dam. Here's a little three-day tour guide for you: 📅 Three-Day Itinerary: 🔸Day 1: Ancient Hantai→Baohe Plank Road In the morning, head to the Hanzhong City Museum at Ancient Hantai to feel the weight of history. In the afternoon, stroll along the Baohe Plank Road and enjoy the magnificent natural scenery. The Baohe Plank Road is also a famous historical relic from the Three Kingdoms period, where you can enjoy the scenery and feel the Three Kingdoms. 🔸Day 2: Mian County Canola Flowers→Wuhou Temple→Wuhou Tomb→Ma Chao Tomb The canola flowers in Mian County are a major highlight and the main area in Hanzhong to appreciate them, don't forget to take photos! Then visit the Wuhou Temple Museum in Mian County to pay respects to Zhuge Liang, and also visit the Wuhou Tomb and Ma Chao Tomb to trace the steps of history and experience the vicissitudes of the Three Kingdoms period. It is said that a tree next to Wuhou Tomb is the incarnation of Zhuge Liang's wife. If you have enough time, you can also visit Dingjun Mountain, but to be honest, Dingjun Mountain is quite boring, it's just famous in the Three Kingdoms. 🔸Day 3: Liping Forest Park Known as the 'Little Jiuzhaigou', Liping Forest Park is a mountainous provincial forest park that integrates forest landscape, geomorphological landscape, water landscape, and modern cultural landscape, combining mountain, forest, water, climate, and pastoral scenery. Experts praise it as the 'Green Pearl' in the depths of the Bashan Mountains, the 'Oriental Switzerland', and the 'Stone Forest Wonderland, Blue Water Paradise'. Spend the whole day exploring Liping Forest Park, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the gifts of nature. If time allows, you can stay overnight in the mountains and watch the stars at night. 🍽️ Food Recommendations: Hanzhong's cuisine is rich and varied, not to be missed. The Shimen Plank Road, which I haven't set foot on for many years, remains in my memory during that vibrant school age. Now revisiting it, it's completely different, as if I'm in a whole new world. Shimen Mountain, still charming, seems like a huge stone breaking out of the water, rushing straight into the sky. Between the mountains and rocks, the woods are lush, and a winding plank road runs through it, which is fascinating. I chose a special tour route, walking all the way. Starting from the ticket inspection entrance at half past two, after a long pedestrian street, I finally reached the ticket office. After checking the ticket, I walked leisurely, appreciating the various cultural elements of the Three Kingdoms and historical allusions along the way. For friends who can't walk too much, you can choose a convenient small train to shuttle back and forth in the scenic area. After passing Cui Ping Xi Zhao, the real challenge has just begun. The mountains are undulating, the river is gurgling, and the great rivers and mountains of the country are unobstructed here. Although climbing the mountain is a bit hard, when you hear the bell echoing in the valley, it means that you have come to the entrance of the plank road, and there will be a flat land waiting for you to explore. We chose to turn back at the beautiful Tianxin Bridge waterfall. Although it is not far from Yingzui Pavilion, because today's exercise has exceeded expectations, we choose to be satisfied with the beauty in front of us. On the way back, we chose to return the same way, those zodiac sculptures and historical allusions that have been polished by the years are worth our careful taste. Tips: Wear comfortable shoes, because some sections may be a bit slippery. Tickets are 70 yuan each, Nongfu Spring is 2 yuan a bottle, and Bingfeng is 5 yuan a bottle. If you want to experience the thrill of ziplining across the river, the price of 50 yuan is quite reasonable. As the second choice for foreign tourists, Shimen Plank Road is definitely worth a visit. The staff here are doing their best to serve every tourist, making people feel their enthusiasm and professionalism. Walking through the Shimen Plank Road, the mountain is steep and strange, and I have to sigh with its shock.

From the west gate, you will feel all kinds of three countries, two Han, historical story galleries and various statues. If you are interested in history, it must be a good place. The real scenery is in the Shimen Reservoir (the intersection of the upper and lower roads, where you can make a yacht nearby, and look at the scenery on the lake. You can see the lake and the mountains along the way, but go back to the end to return from Shimen Reservoir To the east gate of the next road, there is a high point of the dragon and tiger pavilion, which can enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Weihe River.
