"We had an incredible stay at the Lijiang Bo Yin Hotel. The room aesthetic and level of cleanliness were impeccable. Very comfy beds and great amenities. I especially enjoyed the additional elevated section and the end of the room that has a couch and tea set. Very quiet and serene surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious as well. We ordered the western set which came with American and English inspired food. The hash browns were a 10/10. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting for a trip to Guilin. 🥰 "

"Excellent stay, mostly because of the employee Yan. Yan went out of their way to make sure that me , my wife and our two little kiddos had a great time. Not being able to speak Chinese well made the service even more valuable. Our room was great, breakfast was delicious, both Western and Chinese options. " "I highly recommend the Shangri La hotel Guilin in terms of service, cleanliness, and facilities. We had a wonderful experience during our 9-day stay in December which included being there for Christmas Day. The hotel had decorations up everywhere and the public areas played Christmas songs. As a Westerner who enjoys celebrating Christmas, this was wonderful and helped make the festive season feel more familiar. The room was spacious and clean. The decor, simple but elegant. The bathroom had a bath and shower and was very clean. We were on the 7th floor facing the river. December is not 'in season for hotels in China and some of the hotel facilities were closed especially during the weekdays e.g the kids club and game room. Even though this was the case, the hotel gladly opened the game room for our daughter each day so that she could enjoy the many gaming consoles and other fun activities they have in this area. As the hotel was not full and there were fewer guests, the breakfast buffet had fewer options than it would normally have during a busier season. This, however, was not a problem, as the staff and kitchen were incredibly accommodating towards us, especially as Westerners. Whatever we wanted to eat that was not available in the buffet was provided for us. The kitchen cooked up pancakes & waffles for our daughter each day and made omelettes and special fried rice dishes for my husband and me. No request was too much effort. We were thoroughly spoilt. In particular, I would like to thank Athena Liu, Food and Beverage Director, and her marvelous team for the exceptional service we received in the restaurants. Their welcoming manner, warm smiles, and efforts to make us feel comfortable were greatly appreciated. We would also like to thank Sophia Lang, duty manager, who also went out of her way to assist us and make sure our every need was met during our stay. " If we find ourselves in Guilin again, we will not hesitate to book in at the Shangri La again."

"A great choice. Some English spoken at checkin, and the lady who chatted to us each day during breakfast was very polite and helpful. Service was great at breakfast. Limited, but more than enough western and Chinese choices. I think we might have been upgraded to the corner room with view of Elephant Trunk Hill, which was fabulous. Could walk to ETH in 5 mins, and to Sun and Moon Pagodas in 10. Lovely hot water in bath and shower. Nothing to check mols n about at all. Definitely recommended."

"This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It is walking distance to many attractions including Elephant Trunk Hill, Moon and Sun Pagodas, and pedestrian streets. The breakfast buffet is nice and the kitchen staff will prepare Guilin mifen (noodles) for you. The rooms include a Nespresso coffee machine, which provides a great start to the day. The bathroom is spacious with good quality toiletries, including bath salts for the large bathtub. The laundry service is quick with same day or next day return. The room was cleaned daily, which was nice to return after exploring the beauty of Guilin all day. "

"A great hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff can speak some English. The hotel also offers a great variety of activities, both at the hotel and around Guilin; namely pool, Chinese calligraphy, making dumplings, city walks and so on. The hotel is situated centrally to many scenic areas, restaurants and other tourist sites. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Guilin! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Guilin. "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel!!! Firstly they can speak English so it made things easier, the lady called me and asked if they can arrange a pick up from the train station. They went above and beyond with their hospitality! I had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Guilin. The staff of the hotel is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a few minutes out of the city and right next to The Reed Flute Cave. If you are looking for quite and relaxation in between touring this is the place. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains, you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the view or from the comfort of your bathtub. You even get spoiled with bubble bath and the bed/pillows are so comfortable. Breakfast is good and they gave something different each morning...my highlight was they had good coffee, the best I had in a hotel in China!!! My favorite was the noodles and the wonton soup. Service was the best, facilities were up to start and clean, you get new amenities every day. They make your stay and trip so convenient for you, you can ask them to arrange a driver to take you to the different sites. Thank you for everything Peach Blossom you made my trip more Rememrable!"

"Great hotel. The location is nice. You can easily bike anywhere you want to go. We rode ebikes and only took Didi's to the train station and airport. There was some hair in the tub, and small spots on the sheets, but everything else was very nice. The showers were amazing. Great place for a great price."

"Stayed for three consecutive days and I don’t know how to evaluate it. To be honest, it’s comfortable to live, the air-conditioning temperature is moderate, the bathing water is large, the bed in the room is large, the breakfast is abundant, the front desk service is good, and I take the initiative to upgrade the room type"

"Really clean, beautiful hotel. For being inside Guilin I think we made a great choice in hotel, especially because this isn't a chain hotel or anything. The breakfast was just okay from Western perspective, but it was not a problem since I don't eat a massive breakfast anyways. Some eggs yogurt and toast are fine. I wanted some cereal and it took a lot of effort to explain that cereal needs cold milk (all the milk was hot). They just didn't get it, but eventually they did bring me cold milk! Indoor pool (¥50) is beautiful. Sauna good. Gym is exceptional. Bed was super comfortable. Room clean.. Price was great (not sure if this is off-season). Would definitely come again."
