Huaping Nature Reserve

Huaping Nature Reserve, located in the southwest of Longsheng and the border of Lingui County, with a total area of 15,133.3 hectares, is only 70 kilometers away from Guilin City (45 kilometers in a straight line). It is a large natural garden in the subtropical mountain evergreen broad-leaved forest type. Its mountains, streams, waterfalls, forests, and clouds are rich in landscapes, ranking first in northern Guangxi and Guangxi. The landscape features overlapping peaks and peaks, sharp ridges, steep valleys and dangerous slopes, lush and complex vegetation, ancient trees that cover the sky, criss-crossing vines, moss as thick as a blanket, and countless exotic flowers and grasses. On May 6, 1957, Huaping discovered the "plant panda" - silver fir earlier, which caused a sensation in the world's botanical world, and its reputation has spread far and wide since then.
