Romantic Trip of a lifetime..

Halong Bay is best appreciated by cruise - either day trip or staying overnite on board. The trip started with a small boat transfer to the cruise boat. Greeted by friendly staff, the trip started with a cool towel, a welcome drink and a briefing. Then enjoyed the view of the karst limestone from your room or the upper deck. After a seafood lunch - kayaking in the bay area allows us to be closer to nature. Watching the sun set from the upper deck and a good dinner ends a great day in Halong Bay. Which cruise to choose? Depending on your needs, budget and time. Mine - Small cruise (large cruise can be noisy) ala carte meal ( managing what we can or can not eat) and room with Balcony and Jacuzi (perfect for our anniversary)

SHORT TRIP TO CATBA ISLAND

Just two hours on the roads and 20 minutes of ferry ride will bring you from Hanoi capital to this small island call Cat Ba. It’s a popular island located nearby to Halong Bay and it’s worth to be visited for a quick gate away. The people are great and they a lot of seafood restaurant to be choose from. Nothings beat the calm of the ocean during the morning. Take a walk along the coastal area and you will feel the warmth of Catba. Renting a motorbike not an issue here and they came with a more cheaper price compared to Hanoi. There was a cable car crossing from the mainland to the island which we are not aware of. Maybe can be tried when we visit Catba again in the future.

Cat Ba Island is known for its natural beauty - it has mountains, forests, and beaches. - It is also a popular destination for adventure activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, and scuba diving. - there are places to eat on the island Tips: - 4-5 hours to journey from Hanoi to Cat Ba by a bus, including ferry transfer from Hai Phong to Cat Ba. - although the it recommend to spend around three days, we only spent 1 day. - there are ample bikes to rent through out the entrance of the island but buggy is possible too Pro-tip: hire a local guide from those cruise ships along Ha Long bay (We used the guides by Capella cruise and it was awesome!)#Catba #vietnan #island #island #cycling

Getting There - Day Tour to Lan Ha Bay from Cat Ba Island Attractions - the beautiful scene in North Vietnam Joined a one day tour from Cat Ba Island, travelling around the bay and fishing village. The most interesting part is kayaking. All of us in the tour around 40pax kayaked into the dark caves and had great lunch in the cruise. Thien Cung Cave is located in Ha Long Bay. It is a must to visit when you go to Ha Long Bay. There are four stone pillars in the center of this cave.

Bai Tu Long Bay

Bai Tu Long Bay is the name of an area located in the east of Halong Bay Vietnam. Although it shares many similar geological characters with Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay is considered as off the beaten tourist track with many deserted and pristine beaches, no less impressive karst mountains. The Bay has a rich biodiversity with two ecosystems: a tropical, moist, evergreen rainforest ecosystem; and a marine and coastal ecosystem. The area has scarcely seen any tourist development. A large number of guests, through online research, wish to visit the Bai Tu Long Bay because it is much less crowded than Halong Bay. The only disadvantage is that it does not have many grottos. Friday boat at the world famous bay

Titop Island is located 8 kilometers southeast of Bai Chay Harbor in the middle of Halong Bay. Despite its small size (3.7 hectares), it is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the bay and is a popular destination for Halong visitors. Titop has stunning scenery, which can be seen from a vantage point high in the island's center. It boasts a crescent-shaped beach with fluffy white sand and turquoise blue waves that is famed for its serenity. 🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇭🇰 On our descend down from the Titop Island we are met with the Crescent Beach where we can relax with refreshments, swim, lounge, sunbathe or do some water activities💙 Such stunning beach to chill on, I suggest bringing a beach mat and swim suit with you when you come here. There are toilets and shower areas. Easy to spend a couple of hours here as you can just sit or swim or do activities.
