The Haining Museum is a small and medium-sized city museum that is open for free. The first floor displays the cultural relics drawn by Haining, the first floor is a temporary exhibition area and an exhibition area for calligraphy and painting, and the second floor is an intangible cultural heritage exhibition area.
Not far from Haining Railway Station. The most worth seeing inside is the Kip Stone Lantern Festival. As for Haining’s history and customs, there is no exhibition.
The Haining Museum is located on the west side of the beautiful Xishan Park. It is a local comprehensive museum that integrates history, art and humanities.
When I went there, there was an ink painting exhibition of Jinxue on the first floor, and an exhibition of Xia Shi Lanterns on the second floor. The Xia Shi Lanterns are indeed unique in Haining. The craftsmanship is complicated and it is very artistic. It has been selected as an intangible cultural heritage.
The collections in the museum also include more than 6000 pieces of cultural relics in various categories such as pottery, porcelain, jade, stoneware, bronze, calligraphy and painting. Although the exhibition hall is only a local museum, the area is not only two floors, but the layout is very careful. The works are worth savoring!
Opening hours: 8:00-11:00, 13:30-16:30
Very close to the hotel I live in, unfortunately it was too late to go, so I couldn't enter the museum, unfortunately. I only took photos outside. The museum is closed on Monday, and the other opening hours are from 8:30 to 17:30, and it starts at 17:00. The opposite is Xishan Park.
Lantern culture and Majiabang culture are reflected here, you can come to popular science
