Visited the slope during winter, so apart from nasty steep slope, it was all covered in slippery snow as well. If you can reach the top, you can take a breather at the temple above. Good view but...
It is a cobblestone slope that runs south from Omizaka. The road itself continues, but unlike Omizaka and the neighboring Hachimanzaka, it is only wide enough for one car to pass through. The road and itself are quite steep, so be careful when passing. Located on the south side of the Catholic Motomachi Church, it is sandwiched between the Orthodox Church of Harris and the Church of St. John, so you can overlook the churches. At the end of the slope is Myofukuji Temple, where you can see the wonderful view of the church and the eruption bay from the precincts. The slope is steep but up ...
