Bethune Memorial House National Historic Site

It consists of two parts of the memorial hall and the former residence. It is two separate buildings. Tickets are two prices. Cheap can only visit the memorial hall. You have to add money to visit the former residence. Most of the tourists are Chinese, which is a concept for the past years.

Ontario is the hometown of the famous doctor Bethune, and the house is completely turned into an exhibition hall and memorial hall, maintained by the government, with a lot of information about Bethune, and some domestic memorial content displays.

Dr Bethune, the influence in the minds of the Chinese people is still very tall. The snow of one day and one night changed the world outside, and it was white. It feels a bit cold to be sitting outside Dr Bethune!

Bethune's former residence... The town of Muskoka in central Ontario has a more romantic name, Honeymoon Lake Town. For centuries, it has been the most romantic tourist destination for Canadians. It is also Bethune's hometown. The former residence is protected beautifully. Most Chinese people have a good opinion of Bethune. Every place they visit here is a must.

Born in 1890, Bethune has worked as a lumberjack, a doctor, a military officer and a versatile man. He graduated from the Medical Department of the famous University of Toronto. What's more, he was an international communist fighter. He came to China thousands of miles away and contributed his life to the cause of Chinese people's liberation.

Our generation, who grew up with Chairman Mao's Memorial of Bethune as a student, admires Bethune's selfless internationalism very much. Therefore, when we come to Toronto, we are always thinking about visiting his family and offering my respect, which is also a little wishful thinking.

In honor of the old friend of the Chinese people, Dr. Bethune, the former residence of Bethune was born in 1973, and the former residence of Bethune was renovated according to the original appearance of the house when Bethune was born, and the Museum of Bethune's Former Residence was built, and it is listed as a national historical attraction in Canada.

Once upon a time, many Chinese knew that there was a country called Canada through this great friend of international communism. The town of Gravenhurst, the birthplace of Dr. Bethune, is a pleasant place, only a hundred miles from downtown Toronto. Born into a wealthy family of doctors, Dr. Bethune himself was born in a scientific class. He abandoned the superior living and working environment to help the suffering Chinese people. Compared with the so-called horizontal strategists and exporting revolutionaries, his spirit was selfless.
