Grant Park is built next to a lake. The interior of this park is beautiful, and many sculptures are very humanistic natural scenery.
Grant Park and nearby neighborhoods are named in memory of Lemuel P. (L.P.) Grant, a civil engineer who built the Georgia Railroad and was known as the "Father of Atlanta." The park is located near the city center and is home to the Atlanta Zoo. Strolling in the bungalows and Victorian homes of the 1920s and 1930s, you can feel the rich historical atmosphere.
