The Sofia synagogue is the pride of Bulgarian Jews, the second largest Spanish synagogue in Europe, and the only synagogue in Sofia that can be worshipped. The second floor of the synagogue also includes the Jewish Religious Council and the Jewish History Museum.
I visited once out of curiosity and was very impressed.
It covers a large area and is the second largest Spanish synagogue in Europe.
This is one of the few synagogues in Bulgaria.
