The largest island in the Oslo Fjord. In summer, the island has lush vegetation and beautiful scenery. The island still preserves the ruins of the 11th century Cistercian monastery. Since it was once part of the Oslo defense system, some ancient military buildings and installations can also be seen.

There is a nice ruins of an ancient monastery on the island among the grass. It is recommended to go in summer, there are wild flowers, seagulls in a bay, and sailing boats in the distance. There are not as many seabirds and flocks as Langoyene Island. There are few tourists and not many people may know. There was a direct bus, and the tourists disappeared quickly after getting on the island, but every time it was time for the boat to depart, they gathered at the pier without knowing where it came from.

A small island with beautiful scenery, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with lush vegetation.
