Sometimes it&#39;s absolutely worth walking a bit further than the ordinary tourists do. Whenever I am a guide for Hamburg newbies Alsterperle is definitely among the top 5 places to go. This is where Hamburgers chill out after work or on the weekends having a drink in the sun, eating a Bratwurst and enjoying the astonishing view at the city center. The bar is a converted toilet house directly next to the Alster lake about a 20 minute walk away (very enjoyable) from the main station. There is outside sitting only, thus you should go when the weather is nice. In winter you will probably rather have mulled wine, in summer Beer or Aperol Spritz. Its great sitting on the river bank or just on the surrounding lawn, having a drink, enjoying the view watching the joggers run past.

Alsterperle

This restaurant is hidden away in a quiet street of St. Georg. It has a beautiful garden seating to be enjoyed on a warm day. We had scallops and buratta to start, followed by turbot with asparagus and beef fillet. Everything was delicious and well balanced. The restaurant may appear formal but it&#39;s very relaxed and cozy. The waiter was attentive and very friendly. Five stars! We would recommend the restaurant to all foodies :)

Originally tonight, I was going to eat a net red German restaurant with my German colleagues! ! ! After taking the subway for an hour, the store can&#39;t make an appointment by phone. I can only queue up on the spot and tell us that the signature dishes are not available! It takes a long time to queue up, and then we said to look at other restaurants. Finally, I chose to eat this western restaurant. The price is higher than German food... Western food... It seems to be a taste ～ ​
