Port of Hamburg Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The city of Hamburg a bit looks like Amsterdam or Venice because of the many canals passing through the town. They are part of Elba river and they make the city looks pretty different than any other city in #germany #europe
I will definitely go again there some day.

Perhaps God is too favored, and the burgers on the banks of the River Elbe enjoy the love and embrace of the ocean, the canals and the lake. Water has filled her with vitality and spirituality. The shipping of the world has been paralleled. The buildings all show extraordinary temperament. The music of genius is born here. The glory and splendor of Germany is witnessed by her again and again.
Hamburg is one of Germany's three state-level cities (Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen), Germany's second largest city, Germany's most important seaport and largest foreign trade center, Germany's second financial center, and The economic and cultural metropolis of northern Germany has the reputation of World Bridge City.

The wind from Northern Europe blows along the Baltic Sea
The only city in the northwest of Germany that can be proud of is Hamburg, after all, it's like a direct-controlled city, the only impression is that shopping is extremely convenient, and of course, the degree of freedom here is also very high.
I personally prefer the red roofs of Southern Europe with sea views, but the green roof of the Hamburg City Hall also has a unique flavor. A pretty good photo of the city hall can be taken from the shopping promenade next door.
The building where the Hamburg Concert Hall is located is a building that Hamburgers are proud of. There used to be a Westin here, but it seems to have withdrawn now? Going to the pier to find a boat for a tour can visit Hamburg's Warehouse City, cargo ship pier, and warship pier. The duration is about 1 hour, and you can basically see the essence of Hamburg Port.
Less than an hour's drive north of Schwerin is another city of the Hanseatic League, Wismar, where the port still retains some red brick historical buildings, showing the style of the past. The pier is quite close to some very characteristic boats, with fixed departure times, and you can spend a few tens of euros to experience the sea.

The world's largest warehouse complex: Hamburg Warehouse City
is the best in Hamburg, the most worthwhile place, located in the warehouse city on the canal. It is the world of red brick buildings, looking at it, it is a uniform, square red brick building, and this building built at the end of the 19th century is the largest and oldest warehouse complex in the world.
Hamburg is also known as Venice on the water. Just like Venice, the warehouse city of Hamburg is divided by many canals. There are about 2,500 bridges in the city. So you come to Hamburg and travel on the bridges and enjoy the canal. The beauty and old buildings are the best gestures to unlock the beauty of Hamburg.
The red brick building in the warehouse city is beautiful from any angle. Originally a long-lost land, it became the largest urban development project in Europe. After decades of development and planning, it has become a gathering place for museums and restaurants. Figure 4 is a map of the attractions of various museums in the warehouse city. Friends who want to visit the museum can not spend a day here.
Walking in the warehouse city, you can often see the statues of these water-seekers. These statues are from the story of a water-seeker in Hamburg in the 19th century. They are also looking for these colorful diving statues on the streets. There is a lot of fun in the warehouse city.

Germany's largest port city: Hamburg, also known as "German gateway to the world"
stroll in the old town of Hamburg, surrounded by the perfect blend of vintage and modern architecture. The city hall, full of new literary style, looks very bright in the sun, and the crowd is always crowded, highlighting the vitality of the city. The historic warehouse district is now home to museums. Take a boat ride between the countless canals of the Old Town and be the best choice for a burger.
This is a city suitable for young people, but there is a full of vitality in the tranquility, and the increasingly commercial atmosphere also highlights the vitality of the city.

This is a city that has flourished due to shipping and warehousing. Goods from all over the world are piled up in the port of the Elbe River. The warehouse is built along the river. Gradually, the dazzling red brick building is full of the west bank of Hamburg, and the straight cube is just like design. The figure came out in general, and behind the thick walls, there were countless teas from Asia, coffee in Africa, cocoa in the Americas, tobacco in the Caribbean, carpets in the Middle East...
Warehouse City 100 years ago, still low The short shantytowns, densely inhabited by the city's craftsmen and seafarers, the damp air, the ubiquitous mice, the sanitation of the troughs ushered in a cholera, and 17,000 people were taken away. Life, the warehouse city is dead.
In view of this situation, the government finally made up its mind to transform this place, demolished the shanty town, and intended to rebuild it into a dock warehouse. Many merchants smelled the real estate business opportunities and joined the planning of the warehouse city. High, the motherland is built on the road.
Where the river is vertical and horizontal, at full tide, the cargo ship from the North Sea directly pulls the goods to the warehouse on the underground of the warehouse, tea from Asia, coffee from Africa, cocoa from the Americas, tobacco from the Caribbean, from the Middle East The carpet, a busy marina scene.
JOJO’s wonderful trip.

Three hundred and sixty-five days a year, the gateway to the world of miniature models is open to visitors every day: railroad tracks, trains, statues, buildings, landscapes the scenes and details are so spectacular that visitors are impressed. As of January 2011, the miniature landscape here is divided into seven major themes: Harz, Alps, Austria, Hamburg, USA, Scandinavia and Switzerland. Therefore, it is not surprising that the hamburger miniature landscape world has become the world's largest CNC railway model in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Hamburg's miniature landscape of 15,000-kilometer-long railroad tracks can reach 15,000 car skins. To this end, 5,000 houses and bridges, 250,000 trees and 250,000 single-person statues have created magnificent scenes in proportion to the H0 track. Nearly half a million lights have made this miniature railway beautiful and beautiful, making visitors unforgettable. In order to control the train operation, a total of sixty computers were used.
Barry_Lu_Pengyu.
Despite being billed as the largest model train in the world, the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg is really much more than just a toy train layout. It is the largest model train in the world, with over 15,400 meters of track and 1,040 trains. Built on a massive scale, covering 1,490 square meters, with more planning (will be double this size when completed). Highlights include areas dedicated to the United States, Scandinavia, and Germany, as well as airports with planes actually taking off, all illuminated by more than 385,000 lights and containing some 260,000 tiny (and unique) human figures. Since it is one of the most visited attractions in Germany, you can avoid long waits by booking your tickets online.

The location are very good. It is very easily accessible via few minutes walk. I was impressed with Plaza view! I wish it was better weather outside. Anyway I have enjoyed the view. Worth seeing it at least from inside even without having tickets for a performance. Great view on the city from there. #wintergetaway

If you want to select the most beautiful single building in the entire warehouse city, it is estimated that more than half of the people will vote for the Elbe Philharmonic Hall standing at the mouth of the Elbe River. This is designed by Herzog.

Coming to Hamburg, standing in the square of the town hall, the solemn atmosphere always haunts everyone coming here, there is no loud voice, no footsteps, and tourists visiting the town hall are light and light. Language, quietly admiring the building. On the square not far from the town hall, there is a clear water area, which is home to many white swans, foreheads, and ducks. Just bought a bag of whole-grain bread that I don't like very much, throwing waste, it's better to give these little guys. So I tried to throw a small piece of bread in the lake, and I was immediately robbed by a few swans. The last swan swiftly swallowed it... I fed a little duck that looked at me with my eyes. I swallowed it eagerly, and then I followed me. Where do I go, I look at you with pitiful eyes, my heart will be gone~ but don't feed too much, it is not good to eat them badly.

Christmas in Hamburg
Hamburg is the perfect place to celebrate Christmas! There is so much joy around the city!
When heading to Hamburg I recommend using the metro throughout the city! It’s a quick, and easy way to see the city! Plus it’s a lot cheaper than getting a taxi places!
In Hamburg, I recommend going to the Christmas markets if there around Christmas time! When you go to the markets you can order hot drinks and keep the mug they come in! It’s a great souvenir and a yummy drink! #familytrip #christmastrip #Hamburg
