1.You are allowed to take pictures inside the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, but not with the use of the tripod or the selfie stick.2.The museum provides daily guided tours at stipulated timing, and the tour guides are all volunteers. Every tour will take about 90 minutes and you have to make your reservations through the museum’s official website.

All Smithsonian Museums are free, so that's always a plus! This museum is wonderful for traveling families and anyone interested in space or the history of flight.
I feel like this museum is underrated and it's easily one of my favorites in DC. You can see some of the original planes that started everyone's love of travel across the nation and eventually across the world. You can see some of the earliest developments of space exploration. Great place to bring the whole family
We loved this place. Planes and rockets everywhere. Lots of historical artifacts that i never thought i would see. Also, plenty of interactive things for the kids to touch and see. Almost too much to see in one day.
Super fun, i came here with my family and even my young sister enjoyed it, if you like ships, all of them there are real and very picture worthy. A lot of history.
