Located opposite the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, in the courtyard of the Military Museum, there is a HIGHLAND cafe at the foot.
The flag tower used to be part of Hanoi's castle. It needed tickets to the Military History Museum to get into the tower. No one could get there directly through Highland Coffee. At the top of the tower, you can see some military equipment on display. It is suggested to go to the museum first, and finally look at this, to understand the Vietnam War from the Vietnamese perspective.
Founded in 1805 (four years of Nguyen Sezu Ka Long) and completed in 1812 (eleven years of Ka Long), it was built by Nguyen Fuying, Emperor of Ka Long, after the elimination of the Western Shan Dynasty and the reunification of Vietnam, in order to publicize the style of the unified dynasty. Ruan Dynasty was the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam. In 1780, Ruan Fuying first became king in Jiading, and then calmed the whole country with the help of the French. Ruan Dynasty was founded in 1802. He built altars and offered sacrifices to the heavens, claiming to be Emperor Jialong, and asked the Chinese government for a seal. In 1804, the Chinese government officially awarded Ruan Fuying the title of "King of Vietnam" and "Vietnam" one came into being and has been in use ever since. The whole building is composed of three-storey tower foundation and hexagonal tower columns above. The tower body is illuminated by 36 flower-shaped and 6 fan-shaped windows. There are narrow spiral staircases inside the tower which go straight to the top of the tower. The building boundary is 180 meters, the tower is 33.4 meters high, of which the tower column is 18.2 meters high and the flagpole is 41 meters high. The first floor is 42.5 metres wide and 3 metres high, with brick stairs leading to the second floor; the second floor is 25 metres wide and 3.7 metres high; the third floor has four doors, except for the North gate, which all have plaques, with "Yingxu" on the East gate, "Xiangming" on the south gate and "Huiguang" on the West gate.
Hanoi flagpole is located in the Military Museum. It is a tower building with red brick walls. It is said that it used to be the Royal flagpole. This pagoda is very beautiful. There are still some traces of war on it. It has a sense of vicissitudes. It's opposite Lenin Park.
Hanoi Banner Platform is located in Vietnam Military Museum. It is a famous tower-style ancient building. It used to be a Royal Banner platform during the period of Hanoi as the imperial city. The vermilion-red building was built in 1812. The tower is more than 30 meters high, with hexagonal carving patterns on the top, while the base has three layers. Now the old guns can be seen on the base.
