I’ve traveled to Shimen catwalk scenic area in city Hanzhong in spring, pretty good season for being here. 🌸 The area is big and landscape is so beautiful. 💖 So many wonderful stone sculptures and exquisite figurines of people displayed behind the glass along the way. Shimen Dam, also called Shimen Reservoir is strategically important place for the Hanzhong city. That was my first time to come and see the Dam. It was very interesting to got to know how does it function. And area surrounding the Dam is admirable. Very good for taking pictures and for long distance walking. Not overcrowded. Hanzhong Shimen Catwalk Scenic Area. Hanzhong is a, small city located in place where Shaanxi province borders Sichuan. Yes, the city is surrounded by many hills and it's moderate climate allows to culture tea there. Well, this scenic area depicted below is one if the most important landmarks around the city. It easy to be reached by public transportation. Scenic spot includes installations, regional history introduction, sculptures, bridges and... of course serpent shaped pathways going through the hills behind the city dam. As a person who traveled from Hubei to Shaanxi for the first time without a complete strategy, the Qinling Mountains is a place I have always longed for. It is the watershed between the south and north of China, and the representative mountain range of Hanzhong. It takes 3.5 hours to drive from Xi'an to Qinling Xi'an——Meixian——Taibai County——Liuba The latter half is basically all mountain tunnels. Around October 15th, the trees in Qinling have basically started to change color. Although the time is not right, I did not see the most beautiful moment of Qinling, but the Dao Ban Su homestay located in Liuba, Qinling really amazed me. A courtyard transformed by the quietest and most beautiful country road with red bricks and black tiles, there is a huge water fir in the yard, and you can hear the gurgling water.
