Harbin is a city with many cultures, and the church culture of over 100 years is a beautiful scenery in Harbin. Unlike many Russian Orthodox churches, the Lutheran Church in the East Dazhi Street is a typical Gothic style of architecture. The church is not large and does not have a fine ornate fresco icon in its interior, but it is a living church, where churches are held every week and weddings are occasionally held by new people. This brick and wood building, nearly 100 years old, silently witness the change of the city...
The Christian German Lutheran Church at No. 252 Dongdazhi Street, formerly known as Nierai Church, is one of the two churches built by German expatriates in Harbin (the other is the Lutheran Church on Yuyang Street, Nangang District, In 1924), it was also the largest Christian church in Harbin that year. It is now one of the main Christian churches in Harbin.
It is opposite to Hayi Hospital on Dongdazhi Street, adjacent to the Church of the Guardian of Our Lady, and there is a Catholic church diagonally opposite. The whole is red and white, like a house made of biscuits, and a Christmas tree is being built in front of the door when I go. The elephant entered to visit, it was full of people listening to the pastor's sermon, and quietly retreated.
Famous Christian holy place, full of exotic customs
The old church is beautiful and is still in use.
