This was a bucket list item for my husband and I, so we had pretty high expectations going in. Ice and Snow World absolutely exceeded our expectations! It was absolutely magical! The structures we impressive, the lights were beautiful, and the fireworks were a great touch. We went on New Years Eve and found it a little difficult to find information about activities or what might be happening, other than seeing that vloggers on YouTube had clearly gone and it was some sort of big event. We got to the festival at about 6:30PM (as far as we could tell online it was closing at 9PM), there were fireworks sometime between 7:30-8PM. A great way to welcome in 2020! ❤️
This place should be on everyone’s bucket list! The size of the displays are spectacular! I’ve been three times, and each time is just as magical as the first. But wear extra layers, because it does get insanely cold! Thankfully they have areas you can go inside to warm up.
Recently, Harbin has encountered a once-in-a-decade cold wave. It's more than 20 degrees below zero during the day. Yesterday, when I got off the plane, I wanted to go back. It was too cold. Today, a family of three dressed in warm clothes, came to Harbin at four o'clock ice and snow world. As soon as the doll came in, it began to get excited. There were all kinds of interesting ice activities and all kinds of strange ice sculptures. It was really the first time that we had such close contact with extreme cold, but soon we ran and skied and felt no cold. Later, at halftime, we took off the coat for the child, and his underwear was soaked through. At five o'clock, the ice lamp came on. It was fantastic and brilliant. We didn't come out until 8:30. Today the number of steps breaks 20,000, do not feel tired, haha!
this is an amazing place in winter many sculptures built from ice.not little ones but very large buildings you can never imagine wud be built with ice.decorated with different lights from inside gives the sculptures an amazing view.not only sculptures many entertainment game fields are also built.
We went there around 2pm. The place is cold, especially when walking around there or waiting in line for the grand slide. We waited just for an hour for the grand slide as we just headed right there when we entered. Lights are amazing when lit at night. there are many events and shows, also people, which is also a point why it's fun. I do recommend trying out every show, as much as possible. It'll be a loss to miss them out!
In the north of the Yangtze River in Harbin, the Ice and Snow World holds the Ice and Snow Festival every year. All kinds of castles and cartoon characters are made of ice and snow. When we go to the ice sculpture in the evening, the lights turn on, which is very beautiful. The crystal-clear frozen castle is more amazing against the light inside, and the ice slide is also a dream. There are also ice-sugar gourds that can not be missed, close to minus 40 degrees, bite the sugar gourd, that feeling, do not feel too cool! If you go to play, you must keep warm. It's really too cold.
A lot of strategies say to go in around four o'clock in the afternoon and play for about three hours. It's a big mistake. The sooner you go in, the better. Many items can be played. When it's cold, you can go to many restaurants and shops to warm up. Big slides must be accessible for people over 16 years of age. Ha Bingxiu must line up before 3:30 to watch the 4:50 show. 6D movies are very good, some dizzy, many times, queue will be very fast, must see. Ice sculptures look good day and night. Ground sliding requires attention to safety. In addition, you must remember that the basic rental in Harbin is black rental, and carpooling is more, we must make a list, some of the table will also smash rivers and lakes, and drop by drop under the price, and then bargain, the local people also slaughter, the local people and taxi drivers bargain.
totally recommended! the pictures dont do justice, you have to see it in person!! its biting cold though - dress warm, and keep warm!
The ice and snow world shows the unique charm of Harbin ice and snow culture and ice and snow tourism to the world. Its scenery is magnificent, its shape is magnificent, and its scenery is exquisite. It is like a large ice and snow epic picture scroll that is displayed in front of the world. On December 31, 2017, my family and I entered the garden in the afternoon. At 4 p.m., when night falls, people feel like they are in a fantastic world. Bright lights add a lot of color to the crystal ice scene. We not only appreciate the beautiful and flowing ice lamp, zero point, in the brilliant and colorful fireworks show, we entered 2018. At this time, this scene is unforgettable to me all my life.
