Good for a lakeside walk
If you want to have a simple stretch of legs while atying in Yvoire, take the road towards Excenevex and towards the end of Yvoire you can enter La Chataigniere woods - much smaller that we had expect...
Nice but only opened from June to the end of October.
Short but nice walk along the lake and within the small forest. There's a small museum about local clothing (mostly for nobility though) in the 14th and 15th century - Also covers some of the history...
Of local historical importance, this is very close to the beautiful ancient town of Yvoire. The extensive grounds are plain, but well maintained. Tey seem to be well used, and very much appreciated by...

as its name indicates is a place populated with very old castles over a hundred years you can access by a path walk near Yvoire or by the lake on ship
