Molokini Crater, also known as Molokini, is a small crescent-shaped island formed by a volcanic crater partially submerged in sea water. The island is located in the Alalakeiki Canyon between Maui and Kahulawe. The coast to the north of the island is the least damaged coast of the Hawaiian Islands.
