Crocodile Lake is located between the upper and lower cities of the old city, with a total of 12 hectares of water surface. Although it does not have the profound historical and cultural deposits of Hangzhou West Lake, it also shines with the highlights of Hakka culture. There are Yuanxing Pavilion, Huarong Bridge, Mingfeng Bridge, Mingfeng Pavilion and other scenic spots. Huarong Bridge, legend has it that in ancient times there was a poor girl named Guixiang who fell into the crocodile lake from the bridge. There were two ancient banyan trees on the west side of Huarong Bridge, but now there is only one left. Mingfeng Bridge, there is a Mingfeng Pavilion in the middle of the bridge. Legend has it that when Li Tao built the Crocodile Lake, he deliberately made the bridge and the pavilion symbolize his official sedan chair. Mingfeng Bridge was originally curved, but later it was widened and straightened. There were green trees on both sides of the bridge, so it was called Qingqu, and "Crocodile Lake Qingqu" was also named after it.
