The radish burning I was looking forward to was canceled.

When I visited to match the radish burning, there was no one and it seemed to have been canceled this year. The usual precincts were quiet and surrounded by trees 々, and some of the autumn leaves were beautiful. I got the impression that I was able to see the original Amidaji Temple.
At the small temple at the foot of Mt. Shosha, you can enjoy the flowers of 々 in the four seasons. It is famous for the radish daki held every year on 11 Moon 23.
It is a Tendai sect temple famous for the "radish burning" held on November 23 every year. When I entered the mountain gate, it became a precinct with thick trees and the front was the main hall. Tickets are sold on the porch of the main hall on the day of "radish burning" I did. I felt that the precincts were narrow, probably because they were located in a narrow place at the foot of the mountain. Chairs were lined up in a corner of the precincts and radishes were being served. A kettle for burning radishes was also installed on the side immediately.
