What people are saying:

The Gokoku Shrine was originally destroyed in the Atomic Bombing or Hiroshima, it was rebuilt and moved next to the rebuilt Hiroshima Castle. While has an aspect of spirituality, it also holds historical significance. To the side of the shrine is when the bunker that received the last message of B-52 bombers headed towards Hiroshima before the bombing.

    Important shrine

Visited here while visiting the Hiroshima Shrine - well attended even a good week after New Year. When we were there families were bringing disabled children.
