There are many small rabbits on the island, very cute, but it depends on luck. You can not see piles of drawings when you go there. You can bring some carrots and vegetables to feed the rabbits. It also has a special flavor.

Ever since I saw the rabbit island picture sharing on the Internet, I have been thinking about it, and finally got my wish! There are so many bunnies, I think there are thousands of them, and they ran over when they saw people. They were cute! The island is sparsely populated, and walking around the island is also unique, but the transportation takes a lot of time.
A place worth visiting, both big and small friends are very excited! From Hiroshima Airport, go to No. 6 bus station and wait for the bus to Mihara Railway Station. The ticket is 1000 adults, one way. It takes about half an hour by car to Sanyuan Railway Station, change to JR line, and you will arrive at Zhonghai in three stops. You can use the watermelon card for 200 yuan in ten minutes. When you get out of Zhonghai Station, turn right and go straight, about 200 meters away, and you will see the pier. On your right is the ticket office, 310 one-way one adult, two round trips are required. There are also machines selling tickets on the island, so it doesn't matter if you don't buy the whole journey. However, the rabbit food is not delivered or sold at the hotel on the island. I need to buy enough before boarding. I just spent one more round trip ticket to buy the rabbit food. There is no way. The rabbits are too cute to feed. They really can't bear it! Hotel check-in to send bicycle tickets (24 hours for free cycling, two hours each time, I wonder why), cycling around the island is very cool, but to the right of the hotel is a mountain climbing road, uphill and downhill are not suitable for students below middle school. Or go left and play on the beach to find rabbits! I just took my daughter to ride a bike to the pier, and go to the opposite side to buy rabbit food (fast, the returning boat will get off and then on, and then the boat will leave) But pay attention to the direction, there is a big ship going to other islands! Seriously complained, and learned the English of the Japanese people, uh! Stop talking! The hotel’s meal is pretty good! The dishes are many and exquisite, and even the plates are creative, very hilarious! But please pay attention to the front desk to remind you of the time for dining, bathing, check-out, etc. The restaurant will not be served early, nor will it be completed! Otherwise, you will have to pay to eat at the opposite restaurant!
There are two ways to get to Okuno Island. The first is to transfer from Shinkansen Sanyuan Station to the Kure Line to Zhonghai Wharf, which takes 45 minutes in total, excluding the waiting time for the transfer. The second is that the newly opened routes may be more convenient. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can also go directly to the port near the station from the Shinkansen Mihara Station to the island, which takes 30 minutes. Timetable and website introduction: http://habushosen.com/timetable/timetable08 However, if you want to buy rabbit food, there is a coffee shop next to the waiting room of Zhonghai Port. I didn't find where to sell it at Sanyuan Port (I went in November 2017). Maybe the route has just started, maybe there will be in the future. You can also bring some vegetables directly to feed the rabbits. Both terminals have shuttle buses that drive directly to the entrance of the resort for accommodation and meals. There is not much way to go. However, the staff at the resort are not good at English. Many rabbits on the island are very cute. They are outside all day, and at night you can see rabbits jumping around outside the window. The sea view is also pretty. However, the sea breeze in autumn and winter is so cold that I don't want to go out to play rabbits at night.
Exploring the most adorable Japanese rabbit island◎Okunoshima, Hiroshima Okunoshima is located in the Seto Inland Sea Yiyu Islands, about 3 kilometers off the shore of Tadakai Town, Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, between Hiroshima and Shikoku. Because there are hares everywhere, Okuno Island is also vividly called "Rabbit Island". In fact, the seemingly leisurely and joyful Okuno Island has a very dark past. This island used to be the "island that disappeared from the map". The specific history can be searched online. The rabbits here are free, without any restrictions or restrictions. No matter where they go, tourists can almost see them. Many tourists feed the rabbits with vegetable leaves and carrots. Since they have not been harmed by humans, the rabbits on the island are not afraid of people at all, and they have small interactions with tourists from time to time. The number of rabbits on the island exceeds 300 and is still increasing. In order to protect the rabbits, the local tourism department prohibits any cats, dogs or other potential predators from entering this 700,000 square meter island. How to get there: Walk from Chukai Port on JR Line for about 7 minutes, take the resort passenger ship or Daimishima ferry, about 12 minutes to Okunojima Pier, and take the shuttle bus from Okunojima Pier for about five minutes.
