We attended the theatre for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival; we had never been to the theatre, but we were totally awed by the magnificence of the resplendent building and it's history. The architecture is inspiring and the acoustics are spot on. If you ever get a chance to see some classic theatre, you will not be dissapointed by its majesty and grace. All the ushers are super friendly and you can tell they love working in such a fabulous building with an amazing history. Easy to walk to from town and close to the harbour for a pre-theatre dinner.
We went to see a play on Friday night that was associated with MONA. The Theatre is a lovely theatre from yesteryear. Certainly worth a visit.
Great food and atmosphere. There meals are fantastic. They taste amazing and and so incredibly generous. We come here all the time and recommend it to anyone.
I had dinner here this week. The food is very good value for money but menu is limited. Slightly Indian
Doors are locked no more dinning called in for dinner sign said closed and building has a for sale sign on it very disappointed had tickets to the theatre next door and would have been convenient location for pre dinner n drinks
