What people are saying:

To travel to Australia, this stop came to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, and wandered around the city. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is located at the intersection of Harrington Avenue and Macquarie Avenue. This is a simple and quaint Gothic building. The church is small in scale, and the stained glass windows and Italian-style murals are worth it. Go take a look. I'm not a Catholic personally, so I didn't go in, and the opening hours are also stipulated. If you are interested, it is best to check the schedule online in advance.

    A lovely church.

With a beautiful exterior and a somehow more subdued interior, this church is well worth a 5-minute visit to appreciate the architecture.

We dont often admire the buildings in our own city but this is one that you cannot miss in its corner position.

    Another Hobart Heritage Church

Worth a visit when nearby this church is one of many of Hobart's great old sandstone churches and offers a good photo opp for the heritage enthusiast.

    THE OLDEST CATHOLIC CHURCH

We went there because my GGGrandparents were married there in 1840, just after it was built. I am biased because of this but it is a beautiful little church, easily accessible and with so much histor...
