Hoi An is full of Chinese and Japanese architecture and is preserved. These ancient buildings and ancient streets reflect the fusion of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese culture and architecture. Today, Hoi An Ancient City has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage List. Hui An Laiyuan Bridge, also known as Temple Bridge (Cha Cu), a bridge in the ancient city of Hoi An (Anhui) in Quang Nam (Vietnam), across the Autumn River (Song Thu Bn) A small tributary on the left bank. This bridge was originally built for the Japanese diaspora, and is also known as the Japanese Covered Bridge. The bridge was built in 1593 (Year of the Monkey) and completed in 1595 (Year of the Dog). The bridge deck is made of wooden boards. There are two statues of dogs at the west end of the bridge and two statues of monkeys at the east end. The bridge enshrines the White Emperor and the Statue of Zhenwu. It is an ancient building combining bridges and temples. It is also one of the representative buildings in Hoi An City, which is listed as a world cultural heritage.
