Our lodging was just off the coast of Hokitica, so we decided to go for a walk near the coast. When the weather was cloudy, we had no hope of sunset. But when we were walking along the coastline, suddenly we turned around and there was a pink light on the horizon. We marvel at the magic of nature. Here we can see the most beautiful sunset, at least in my opinion. Let's feel it. Various colours interweave.
Hokitica Beach is characterized by a lot of branches and rocks. On the beach, there are many HOKITIKA signs made of branches, and the stones are of variable colors. This is the famous origin of green jade in New Zealand, so Hokitica is also called Green Jade Town. The town is said to have a permanent population of only 4,000 people, so the streets are often empty.
How can a trip to New Zealand be short of sunny beaches, where the waves are a little big, a little like the 12 disciples of Melbourne?
When we arrived at the seaside at dusk, it was high tide and very beautiful.
Hokitica Beach is one of the main tourist beach attractions on the west coast of New Zealand's South Island. The beach scenery is actually not too special. The advantage is that there is not much commercial activity. The seaside is suitable for swimming, but the waves are not too calm. Facing the blue sea, it is good to match the blue sky and white clouds.
