It is said that a good Malay restaurant is on the 3rd floor of Hotel Jen Friends who often travel to Hong Kong say that a Malay restaurant is quite famous in Hong Kong, and that it is a famous Malay cuisine in Hong Kong. It should not be worse as a Shangri-La restaurant~ The hotel’s breakfasts these days are all here, and the curry beef that my little friend missed has never appeared. What appeared was the curry chicken, which was especially delicious with the fragrant rice, and some brothers cooked laksa noodles on site. There are quite a few locations throughout the restaurant, and the type of breakfast is okay Except for breakfast other times, here is a la carte Malay restaurant
Best Malay food in townThis is not my first time to dine at Cafe Malacca. Whenever I want to eat Malay food, Ill come here. Its better to reserve table in advance as they got Michelin star. Came again with my best Malay friends who lived in China now but missed the good Malay food.My favourite is their chicken rice, satay and Bak Kuet Teh. The favourite dessert is the Pandan crepe with coconut, its so yummy!Its my favourite....! ^o^
Best Malaya Food in Hong KongJust had the most wonderful lunch at Cafe Mallacca to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Tucked away in the Jen Hotel in Sai Yin Pun you will find the stylish and well appointed Cafe Mallacca serving up authentic first class Malaya dishes. No Formica tables and harsh lighting here. One of my favourite restaurants in Hong Kong.
Good hotel restaurant offering excellent selectionI dont often eat in hotel restaurants, but I had the opportunity to have lunch here and enjoyed it very much. Lots of different dishes (spicy and non spicy) at reasonable (for a hotel) prices.It can get very busy with local business employees, so if you have a group, make sure to reserve a table.
Excellent beef rendang but slow serviceI have been to Cafe Malacca with a group of friends very recently. As we knew it is usually very busy we decided to book in advance in order to avoid having to wait for a table. Despite the reservation though, we still had to wait for our table to be prepared - so we were only able to sit 10 minutes later than our reservation time.The choice on the menu is pretty wide and includes both Malay and Singaporean specialities. I am in love with Malay food and Cafe Malacca definitely passed the test!The beef rendang was absolutely delicious and the roti canai is just perfect as an appetiser! The laksa and seafood noodles were also excellent. The only issue was timing: food was brought to the table without coordination, we received drinks after food and one appetiser arrived after the mains.Therefore, I would definitely rate the food as a 5/5 but the service lacked punctuality and professional attitude.
Crowded for dinner as its the best Malaysian foodThis is the only restaurant at the Jen Hotel which I guess youd typically associate as the coffee shop but it happens to be Malaysian cuisine.The hotel was not that full when we stayed (appeared not crowded at breakfast), but was packed for dinner, luckily we got a table for 2 without a reservation. Im guessing the bulk of the people were not hotel guests but coming for the Malaysian food - that was a good sign!We ordered mixed satays (very good), Hainanese chicken rice (great), bean sprouts (great) and beef rendang (taste was right but the beef should not have been huge chunks).HD$ 500 for 2
听酒店的工作人员介绍，位于酒店二楼的Cafe Malacca是香港最好吃的马来菜馆之一，主厨曾获派到星、马等地取经，并由当地引入一些特别而地道的食材，精心炮制风味正宗的马来西亚菜式。据说马来西亚领馆活动也选在这里举办，菜馆获得很多美食大奖，也是香港米其林强烈推荐的马来菜馆。 菜馆的情调及气氛极好，简约中带有马来西亚风情。外观以杏色为主题，走廊位置添置了白色的层架，架上放满了一些陶瓷小摆设及马来西亚风味的小盆栽。 另一边墙身挂上昔日马来西亚大排档口的黑白照片，仿佛置身于马来西亚的餐馆一样。 看着餐牌，觉得每一个菜式都很吸引都想尝尝，最后点了几款最想吃的招牌菜。美好的食物，不仅能够温暖吃货的胃，还能让心情也变得变得特别美好。 沙嗲牛肉、鸡肉串烧 以传统马来酱料腌制的烤鸡肉、牛肉串，配搭浓郁香甜的花生酱、饭糕、青瓜和洋葱。传统的马来酱料很惹味，还有我最喜爱的花生酱很香，串烧一般吃多了会觉得滞，但原来这道配着花生酱料吃的串烧味道一流，牛肉及鸡肉嫩而不韧。加上卖相已经加分，以蕉叶托底，很有马来西亚风情，除了牛肉、鸡肉外，还有饭糕沾上马来酱吃别走一番风味。 虾酱通心菜 通心菜本来是很普通的绿色蔬菜，却因为虾酱的存在突然变得惹味起来。 槟城炒贵刁 做法和我们广东的干炒牛河相似，加了虾、腊肠一起炒，更为鲜味。 肉骨茶 这里的肉骨茶偏向马来西亚口味，药材味浓，汤色较深。一锅热气腾腾、散发着药材香气、混合着肉的醇香的既食又饮的菜肴，品尝一口后便会让人念念不忘…… 槟城亚参叻沙 槟城的著名美食，以带酸味的辣鱼浓汤配米线，加上新鲜菠萝、薄荷、青瓜、葱头及姜花作配菜，汤底浓郁味道酸辣，有一种很地道的口味。 桔仔冰 尝了那么多的地道美食，要再来一杯马来西亚风味的特饮才算完美。以马来西亚独有的桔仔调制柑橘特饮酸甜咸鲜、清凉可口，既解渴又宜人，还有养阴利咽、清热下火的功效。 猫山王榴莲布丁 最后当然要留一点空间试试菜馆的特色甜品猫山王榴莲布丁啦，卖相色泽均匀艳丽浓厚。初尝第一口，口感绵软，醇厚的浓香足以触发味蕾的每根神经。第二口惊艳，那香香的榴莲味会在嘴里慢慢散开，那种感觉妙不可言…… 想要留住客人，还需要抓住客人的胃，Cafe Malacca就真的做到了，出品色香味俱全，我给五星～
