Stanley is a coastal town at the southern end of Hong Kong Island. It is located in the east of Shallow Bay and the west of Shi'ao. It was once a British military stronghold and administrative center of Hong Kong Island during the British colonial period. History has endowed this place with the connotation of harmony between Chinese and Western cultures. I arrived at Stanley on rainy days and walked slowly into the town, a big banyan tree, an old building, no publicized visitors, no indifferent eyes to see your Hong Kong people, asking for directions, even in English. There is a feeling of arriving in a small country in Southeast Asia. There is still an original flavor like an old car. A post office like this. The building is absolutely Victorian, old mailbox, old door sign, and the only old mailman in it. In the mini-space, I pass my postcard to the old man through the balcony business desk, and then I can only communicate with him in English to deliver requests. Time seems to go backwards. The encounter during the journey is fascinating, and the mood sent out in Stanley is absolute. There is also a Merry Building worth seeing, European architecture, Western style.
From Queen's Avenue to Stanley Square, take bus 6X-ray for more than half an hour. As tourists, bus rides must be sitting on the second floor, enjoying the natural scenery from the bustling, high-rise city to the shady green trees and the blue sea only need to pass through a tunnel. The style is quite different. Horse racing ground, ocean park, shallow water bay beach, the scenery along the way is beautiful. Stanley lies to the south of Hong Kong Island. Half of the island slips smoothly into the Pacific Ocean. The biggest feature is the style full of antique fragrance and harmony of Chinese and Western cultures. Along the front line of Stanley Bay, there are sunny beaches, many bars and cafes with different styles and European style. The bars in Stanley are mostly semi-open-air, which makes it convenient for guests to enjoy the sunshine. Stanley is a colorful coastal town, a good place for sightseeing and leisure. The disadvantage is that most bars and restaurants here do not have Mandarin Chinese service.
It's very worthwhile to go here. I didn't realize that there were so many foreigners here. On the contrary, there were not many Chinese. I really don't know how foreigners knew about this place. There are special minibuses in Causeway Bay and 6x buses in Central. Through Causeway Bay Shallow Water Bay, the terminal is Stanley Prison. Actually, you don't have to sit at the end of the journey. You can go to the Stanley Market. It's really cheap. How many foreigners do it? Turning out of the market is the seaside. You can move on to Stanley Pier or Stanleyplaza. It's comfortable to walk slowly.
Stanley is a beautiful town in the south of Hong Kong. It is located in the east of Shallow Bay and the west of Shi'ao. It is full of exotic customs. I've been to Hong Kong many times, and I've visited many places in Hong Kong.... I'm not passionate about shopping and visiting famous scenic spots. In fact, Hong Kong hides a lot of places full of history, culture and Hong Kong characteristics, Stanley is one of them. Traveling to Hong Kong, I like to explore some places with cultural characteristics, so that I can really walk and see, while feeling the charm of the city.
The subway crosses the overpass in Central and comes down to the station. Many cars arrive. It's very convenient and fast. The legendary stanchion is the same as the territory of foreigners. It's nice to sit outside and watch the sea breeze. There are bazaars to visit. But things, general.
Stanley can go by bus in Central. The scenery is very beautiful. There are beaches and rocky beaches. We like to climb up and down the boulders and show different POSE pictures. Many foreigners live here and often see lovely foreign children and pets strolling along the beach. The biggest feature of Stanley is that it is full of antique flavor and harmonious Chinese and Western culture. There are sunshine beaches, unique buildings and shopping and catering centers. The most important historical building of Stanley, Merry Tower, is the only ancient European Victorian building in Hong Kong. It is the most common architectural design in the early colonial period of Hong Kong. It has become an existing building of this kind. One of the oldest in history.
Personal feeling is worth going. Take a minibus in Causeway Bay, go straight to Stanley Square, then walk to Stanley Street along the coast, and visit the market. Many foreigners live there, some exotic. Because it's rainy and cloudy, we can't photograph the beauty of the seaside. You can get off at Shallow Bay and step on the sand.
I like this place very much. The destination scenery is not the most attractive. The most beautiful scenery is on the road, sitting on the upper floor of the double-decker bus. After crossing Huangzhukeng, I drive along the mountain side. On the right side, I pass through the deep bay, shallow bay and other beaches in turn. The beautiful scenery is intoxicating... There are many restaurants and bars along the coast of Stanley, all of which are very popular.
Stanley is my first time go here.It is a relaxing place.Stanley is a convenient place for everyone . Visitors can by bus or minibus around 45 minutes to Stanley.Stanley market.Murray House and Waterfront Mart must go there. You can enjoy the unique natural experience.
When you come to Stanley, you have to go to Stanley Market first. The bars here are mostly semi-open-air type, and on sunny days, you can drink afternoon tea, enjoy the beautiful sea view of Stanley Bay, see the historical aftertaste of Meili Tower, and spend a leisurely and pleasant time together. When the bus got off, you could see the sign of the market in Stanley. I didn't expect so many people in Stanley. It's the beach when you come out of the Stanley Market. This is Zhengtan. The beautiful scenery, golden sand everywhere, blue sky and sea reflecting the sky, is a good benefit to enjoy the sunshine beach.
