Standing at 552m, Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island. It is also one of the most visited spots by tourists, and it’s not hard to see why. Sweeping views of the metropolis, verdant woods and easy but spectacular walks are all reachable in just eight minutes from Central via Hong Kong’s 125-year-old, gravity-defying Peak Tram. Predictably, it's become a money-making circus with restaurants and two shopping malls, but there's still magic up here if you can get past that. So my question Day or Night?

I decided to hike up the Peak from Central! I took the bus 12A to MacDonnell Road and hiked up Garden Road, then towards Robinson Road where Canossa Hospital is. Afterwards, I continued walking all the way up to Tregunter path, crossing Dynasty heights, and began the trail up to the Peak. The entire hike took around 1.5 hours I would say. It was very difficult because it was all steep slopes going upward but the view was definitely worth it!

Victoria Peak at Hong Kong should be one of your bucket list when traveling to HK. You can go here through the tram from lower terminus. Up at the Peak you can enjoy a lot of activities, first off is the 360 view of hong kong skyscraper. You can take tons of photos from there and the view is magnificent. There are also illusion photo op which you can take advantage while going up to the tower. If you want a more elaborate photos, you can head to madame thausauds and enjoy the many scenes. be at high at the peak of hk.

Standing at 552 m, Victoria Peak is the highest hill on Hong Kong Island. From the summit area, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view. The public walking paths around the peak offer excellent vantage points for photographing Victoria Harbor and the marvelous Hong Kong skyline. It's possible to reach Victoria Peak by bus or via the historic cable car. There are stores and restaurants located in the Peak Galleria. Visiting at sunset or at night is simply spectacular. There is arguably no better place from which to glimpse central Hong Kong.

There are more tourists on weekends and holidays. The gondola lift may have long lines for significant wait times. Visitors are encouraged to come at different times and avoid the lift unless necessary.
found that when arrived before noon, the blue sky & clouds views are at their best! took peak tram this time... taking no 15 bus is equally good!!
It was an amazing trip to the Victoria Peak. My friend and I decided to hike up to the Peak as we were told its quite an exercise to walk up. We took the 12A bus to MacDonnell Road in Mid-Levels, then began walking up to Garden Road and slowly made our way up to Robinson Road. After passing Lady's Recreational Club, we continued up to Tregunter Path which is where the started trail is located. The overall hike was 1.5 hours and it was quite difficult to walk because it was all steep slopes, however, the view was completely worth it. You should aim to go before sunset and watch sunset up on the Peak. We went at night but the skyline was so beautiful with all the lights lit up.
Great view of Hong Kong 360Degrees A Must place for taking amazing pictures and a Adventurous ride to the peak by peak tram 10/10
We took the harder route by hiking from the Peak Tram entrance all the way to the Peak. The view was worthy of our effort.
It is convenient to get to. I took the Peak tram, which is around a 10-min walk from Admiralty station. There is a lot to do at the Peak for instance the Madame Tussauds, Monopoly Dreams, etc. The view from the Peak Tower is simply fabulous. I also took a short stroll around Victoria Gap and picked up a painting from one of the vendors there. Overall, the Peak is very scenic and it has something for everyone to enjoy, especially the restaurants. The two I went to were Bubba Gump and Rajasthan Rifles. Both had delicious food.
