Kurobuta pork katsu is definitely one of the delicious meals to try before you die! ;) Avoid the long lines by getting there before 5. Easy $1 parking next door at Bank of America. Get it validated!
Go for the pillowy and delicious tonkatsu sando.
Nice sake selection.
Come for the tonkatsu and stay for the individually made lots of rice. The restaurant only makes 25 kurobuta orders each night so come early
I got the curry tonkatsu and it was sooo good! It felt like I was back in my beloved Japan. Super kind people (as you'd expect from a Japanese staff), great food and reasonable prices. Loved it!
An awesome tonkatsu place on this side of the Pacific Ocean. Make sure to order a meal rather than a donburi so you can enjoy the crispy texture of the nicely prepared tonkatsu.
Definitely make a reservation. The counter is always nice to see the chefs do their work.
Unlimited rice, cabbage, and soup to go with a very very well cooked piece of fried pork cutlet.
That Kurobata pork katsu . . . really good, but not thirty bucks good. This pushed my value-for-money limit. There's a reason there's still some left at 9PM on a Saturday.
Get the Kurobuta tonkatsu. It is good and worth it. If you've had tonkatsu before, the loco moco tonkatsu is a solid choice too.
