Things To Do in Honolulu

Pearl Harbor
4.5/5
623 Reviews
A large seaport in Hawaii, Pearl Harbor is flanked by mountains on three sides and faces the sea towards another. The harbor is famous around the world due to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, a well-knowned surprise attack launched by the Japanese Navy on the US Pacific Fleet during the Second World War. Now the US government has designated the place as a base for education in patriotism. You may visit the Hall of Historical Exhibition, Memorial of Fleet, and Memorial of Aviation. WWII armaments align the embankments, where many valuable objects from the war are also on display.
Waikiki Beach
4.6/5
655 Reviews
Beach
Waikiki Beach is a popular and famous destination in Honolulu, Hawaii. Locals are extremely friendly and pleasant. The highlight of this is a stretch that runs between the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. There are fine white sandy beaches, lush coconut trees and wonderful shopping lining the main street beside the ocean. The sea is calm and safe to swim in. You can dive, surf, kayak, sunbathe on the beach, or take a sunset stroll along the beach. The beach is most magnificent at sunset. The beach is particularly busy at night. Restaurants and bars are full of people drinking cocktails and enjoying Hawaii's special local hula and fire dance performances.
Hanauma Bay
4.5/5
449 Reviews
Seashore
Hanauma Bay is a natural bay at Diamond Head. Its shallow water and calm seas make it a perfect spot for snorkeling and swimming. One may watch a video footage upon arriving at Hanauma Bay, which introduces how the bay was formed and its ecological environment. After the film, one may head downhill and make for the locker room to change into swimming suits. The beach boasts delicate sand and clear water. One may either play on the beach or go swimming and snorkeling under water. The further into the sea, the more natural coral reeves and colorful species of fish there are.
Kualoa Ranch
4.6/5
388 Reviews
Farm
Kualoa is a traditional ranch run by a local family in Oahu, Hawaii. The ranch is scenic and diverse in terrain with its precipitous cliffs, billowing seas, luscious tropical rain forests, sprawling valleys, pristine white sand beaches, leafy promontories, to name a few. The ranch comprises two major sections, with Kaʻaʻawa Valley, in the north, where many movies and TV shows have been filmed, and in the south
Diamond Head

Volcano
When you imagine the excitement early visitors to Diamond Head must have felt when they confused calcite deposits with real diamonds, it's easy to forgive their misnaming this extinct volcano. Today the state maintains a little monument, complete with a path leading up and through the mountain in former army bunkers. The trek is topped off with one of the best views of Honolulu from the summit. After filling up your camera's memory card head on back into the crater and consider enjoying some shave ice. There is a truck there that has got this cold snack down, just don't let the local population of pushy peacocks intimidate you into sharing.
Nu'uanu Pali Lookout
4.4/5
257 Reviews
Observation Deck
The Nuuanu Pali Lookout is the site of a 1795 battle between King Kamehameha and the forces of Oahu. In his bid to unite the Hawaiian Islands Kamehameha used modern technology and the assistance of foreign advisers to crush this final stronghold and bring a short lived unified kingdom to the islands. The Pali Lookout was the site of the last stand of Oahu's forces, many of whom were pushed to their death from the towering cliff that gives this area it's scenic beauty. Visitors today will enjoy breathtaking views of windward Oahu from this point. Don't be careless though. Winds are known to whip through this area in excess of fifty miles per hour, so don't end up reliving the tumble so many a Hawaiian warrior did.

Spring is a joyous time. Lands cast off winter’s shadow and a remarkable flowering begins. In North America, spring heralds a curious annual migration. College students flock in large numbers from campuses across the cold north to more southerly latitudes. Buoyed by copious amounts of sunshine and (more often than not) alcohol, they shed their outer garments. Clad only in scant attire, they congregate in large numbers on beaches and in resorts. For roughly two weeks typically in mid- to late-March, the spectacle that is Spring Break unfolds in cities and towns from Cancun to Myrtle Beach. If you’re wondering how best to observe the varying levels of debauchery for yourself, we’ve put together this handy travel guide profiling 20 popular Spring Break destinations. Alongside perennial favorites we throw in several places you might not expect. We think you’ll enjoy this look at the top Spring Break destinations for 2020.

Honolulu is located on the fringe of the tropical belt and as such it is summer all year round and therefore good for visiting anytime, though you have to take note of the wet and dry spells. The peak tourist season is from mid-June to September; hotel rates are high and there are many tourists. December to March is the wet spell, where the rainfall increases and the air turns cool and humid. However, rarely is it that there is extensive rain but do take your rain gear along.
