About Halona Blowhole

Halona Blowhole is one of eastern Oahu's most visited regular attractions. Discovered just before Sandy Beach Park, this "blowhole" is really the consequence of tidal powers dissolving the coral drift so as to make a give in where suction of ebbing waves occasionally sends a gush of water high into the air. The area is dominated by a scenic post that offers front line seats to this display, notwithstanding giving a portion of the best clearing perspectives of the Oahu drift to be found anytime around the island. Regardless of whether you are hovering around the Oahu on a visit, or are going to Sandy's or Makapuu Beach, take a couple of minutes to look at the show and the view from delightful Halona Blowhole.

Fountain Cave - located at the foot of Diamond Head Mountain, is a coastal cave formed by volcanic lava. The coast around it is black volcanic lava, so it is also called "Blackstone Fountain". This magical natural fountain often emits water pillars several meters high. The bigger the wave, the greater the pressure, the higher the water pillars emitted, and accompanied by rumbling sound, the scene is very spectacular.

Halona Blowhole Fountain, because of the natural hollow and small opening shape of coral reefs, sprays water columns when big waves rush in, sometimes up to 15 meters high. The beautiful sea view of Hawaii is like a picture scroll after scroll.

We drove to the fountain mouth, which is a very popular scenic spot on Oahu Island. It's a certain distance from the city. The wind is very strong. Occasionally, sea water sprays out from the cracks in the rocks. It's very spectacular.

This coastal cave formed by volcanic lava, also known as the "Blackstone Fountain", because of long-term sea erosion, as long as there is a sea water influx, it will spray 16 meters high water column spray into the air, accompanied by rumbling sound, very shocking. No tickets are required. Tourists should not be too close to the spout to avoid being washed down by the rapids.

There is a viewing platform at the fountain mouth, which allows free parking. The fountain mouth is a pile of volcanic lava, which has left a big crack on the reef of the rock wall due to the erosion of sea water for a long time. When the wave hits the rock wall, under the pressure of great pressure, the sea water will rush up from the crevice to form a huge water column, and there is a huge sound, as if it is a fountain of water. Local bear children like to play and interact with the sea.

The fountain cave in Yellowstone National Park is so spectacular that the gas emitted is highly shocked. There are countless fountain outlets in the park. Hot air comes out everywhere. Old faithful fountain outlets are the most shocked. The fountain height is the highest in the world.

The natural landscape formed by the rocks hit by sea water is really like a fountain. It looks very shocking. There is a special viewing platform where self-driving can get off. The coastline is also very beautiful, with mountains stretching on the back.

Because of a groove triggered by the volcanic eruption, it is said that when the waves are big, the sea water can beat up 15 meters of spray in the groove, which is magnificent. But when we went there, we didn't see anything like that... The beach of the fountain cave is also a good beach. It has large waves and is suitable for surfing.

Another stop is a non "car view" scenic spot, "Blowhole Fountain Cave". It's a map of several Hawaiian islands on the ground outside the scenic spot. The Lann Island above is the one that Oracle's owner bought before. of course, the islands are now located in a place that has undergone tens of billions of years of erosion to this point, and there will be submarine volcanoes coming up in the future. Blowhole Fountain Cave, a coastal cave formed by volcanic lava, is also known as Blackstone Fountain. Because of long-term sea erosion, as long as there is sea water influx, it will spray 16 meters high water column spray into the air, accompanied by rumbling sound, which is very shocking. Of course, when we brush the camera in front of it, it becomes very lady, only a few wisps of smoke (water vapor) come out.
