Jiang'an in Jiangsu. There are many free and open scenic spots in the city center. Chuxiuyuan is a park I like very much. Chu Xiuyuan is open for free and does not accept tickets. It opened in October 1989 and has been in business for 30 years.
Because Huai'an ancient times belonged to Chudi, it was named Chuxiuyuan. This is a comprehensive park located on the south side of the East Street in the city center. The park is characterized by water features. There are four lakes from Leihu, Lihu, West Lake and Nanhu from north to south. The scenery is beautiful.
There is an island in the lake, the island is connected, and the plant is landscaped and decorated with pavilions and pavilions. It is a microcosm of the green water Huai'an, which is a good place for people to visit.
The northern part of the scenic spot is adjacent to the ancient Ciyun Temple and the Temple of Literature. From the park, you can see the tall tower of Ciyun Temple. Among them, Leihu has a lot of history. Leihu was originally named East Lake. During the Chongzhen Period of the Ming Dynasty, he trained the Navy here.
In the early spring, the scenic spots are full of vitality, and all kinds of flowers and plants are blooming. Many citizens will come to visit the whole family on weekends. There are also many amusement facilities in the scenic spot.
Chu Xiuyuan is still the ocean of flowers. There is a rose garden in the scenic spot, planted with more than 500 varieties of roses, and attracted countless tourists.
The park covers an area of 48 hectares. The north entrance plaza opens the viewing axis with Chu Yuntai. The eight scenic spots along the main garden road are distributed throughout the park, dotted with the lake landscape in the park.
This is a relatively concentrated area of Huai'an city center. From the north gate of the park, it is not far from the Qingjiang PuLi Canal Cultural Corridor. The West Gate is not far from the Qingyi Garden and can be reached on foot.
