Qing Yan Park Photos

Qingyan Garden, located in Huai'an City, is a well-preserved classical garden in Huai'an City, and it is also a preserved official garden in the history of water transportation in China. Founded in the seventeenth year of Kangxi (1678 AD), it was once named Huai Garden, Zhan Garden, Lingering Garden, and Chengnan Park. In 1991, it was restored to the ancient name of "Qingyan Garden". Hefang Academy is a very characteristic building in the park. It was built in the fifteenth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1750) and turned into Xinhua Library. In recent years, it has been renovated and renamed Hefang Academy. Around the Hefang Academy is the recreation place of the Hedu, with a stele pavilion and a stele gallery. From these imperial inscriptions, we can understand the hardships of water control and water transportation, which are a set of valuable historical materials and historical relics of water conservancy. Qingyan Garden has other buildings such as Huaixiang Hall, Jiaoyin Hall, Jinlai Yuxuan, Shuixie, Ship Building and Qianyuzhai.
