Huailou, Huaian Town, Jiangsu, is a cultural relics protection unit in Jiangsu Province. The existing buildings are those of the Qing Dynasty. The Zhenhuai Tower has no historical date, but it was still a Qiaolou for a certain period of history. From this we can know its origin. The strange Wenbao stele, originally a provincial protection stele, is now a city protection stele. Very old! ! ! !

Nice place, worth visiting! Check it out if you have time!
Several historic sites in Huai'an Old Town are not far apart, and it takes only five or six minutes to ride from one place to another. Zhenhuai Tower, located in the geographic center of the old city, sounds very domineering, and its main function is the Street Center Park. There is a charge for boarding the tower.
The lower part of Zhenhuai Building is a high masonry platform with an arched doorway in the middle. The platform gradually narrows from the bottom to the top and is slightly trapezoidal. Next to the platform, there is a brick staircase for walking up and down, and the top of the platform is surrounded by railings. The upper part of the platform is a two-story pavilion with wooden structure, three rooms wide, and the top of the Qingwaxie mountain with double eaves, which is very simple.
Located in Huai’an District, Huai’an, Zhenhuai Tower is a landmark building in Chuzhou City and the only existing tower building in Huai’an. No admission is free, and it resembles a leisure park. Zhenhuai Tower has a long history, dating back to the Song Dynasty. It is the Drum Tower of the Ming Dynasty and was rebuilt during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It was named after the flood of Huai River. In the Republic of China, in order to commemorate the revolutionary pioneer Mr. Sun Yat-sen, it was also called Zhongshan Tower. I personally feel that it is not easy to preserve Zhenhuai Tower, and it is also very beautiful in history.
