The autumn scenery of Mutianyu is really!! Stunning!! It's like a palette has been knocked over, a visual feast~ 🚌Transportation: Book your tickets one day in advance, search 🔍 'Beijing Tourism Distribution Center' on Xiao🍊Xu, round-trip tickets are 80. The next day, take the subway to Qianmen Subway Station, the pick-up point for the Beijing Tourism Distribution Center is opposite the E3 exit. ✨Experience sharing: Buses depart continuously from 7-10 in the morning, and depart when full. There are return buses from 1-4 in the afternoon, which also depart continuously. Each bus from the distribution center is equipped with a tour guide, who will give a detailed introduction to the differences between Mutianyu and Badaling, as well as the recommended way to play in Mutianyu. It's very convenient to buy tickets directly on the bus, saving the need to take a shuttle bus. You can buy water on the bus, two bottles for 5 yuan, and a bottle of water on the Great Wall costs 10 yuan~ 🍲Dining options: There is a Yisonglou Restaurant at the entrance, where you can order meals. Two people ordered two dishes and two bowls of rice, and the average cost per person is just over fifty. Middle Line: Enemy towers No. 6-14. ‼️The cable car and the ropeway slide are operated by two separate companies, so they can only be ordered separately~ The cable car goes up to the 14th enemy tower, the ropeway goes up to the 6th enemy tower, and the slide slides down from the 6th enemy tower. If time, physical strength and economy permit, you can choose double cable and double slide. We chose the West Line, took the cable car up and down, climbed from No. 14 to No. 19, and it wasn't too tiring to walk and rest. The main reason is that we went to the Summer Palace, Universal, and the Forbidden City three days before climbing the Great Wall, and our feet were almost worn out, so we didn't make it to the 20th enemy tower, and only climbed to the Hero Slope. Including the time for taking pictures, the total play time is 3 hours. We left for the return journey at three o'clock in the afternoon, arrived back in the city at around four thirty, had a roast meat skewer, and then went to see the night view of the Bird's Nest~

I had only seen the Great Wall in books or on videos, and when I was finally there, it felt surreal (I was super happy and had butterflies in my stomach 😅😁). I took a lot of photos there, of course😎. Getting There - The Great Wall is very far from the city center and it’s best to book a guided tour to the Great Wall. It’s going to be hassle free and most tours include a free lunch of traditional Chinese dishes. Food & Restaurants - There are a few restaurants near the entrance, but only a few stalls as you enter. #timetotravel I have been to 3 different parts of the Great Wall and this one was the first! I never get enough of the great wall to be honest, i am just always amazed to see it's beauty and knowing more about it everytime I go visit it. This Mutiayu area of the great wall is less crowded and less commercialized. You can still see the authenticity of the greatwall without all of the renovated sections. It has undergone less restoration work so for me this is better than the other section of the great wall in Beijing. It is farther but for me it didn't matter because I just wanted to see different parts of the greatwall of China. Entrance fee: 40 rmb addtional payment if you are going to take the cable car and do the slide (tobogan ride) down. As we arrived at the entrance of the Great Wall Mutianyu section, anticipation filled the air. We eagerly boarded a cable chair, we hopped on a cable chair that whisked us up the majestic mountains, revealing a breathtaking panorama. The view from the walls was nothing short of extraordinary, with the beautiful mountains stretching as far as the eye could see. The intricate architecture of the wall fascinated us, a testament to the ancient craftsmanship. To descend the mountain, we embarked on an exhilarating toboggan ride, gliding down on a chair slide that felt like a thrilling rollercoaster adventure. best trip ever. started in hong kong, then macau, then chimelong (largest aquarium in the world), then chengdu (panda breeding center), then beijing (mutianyu wall, simatai wall, forbidden city, temple of heaven, summer palace, tiananmen square, now going to xi'an (terracota warriors), then zhiangjiajie (glass bridge, stairs to heaven, avatar mountain), wuhan, shanghai, guangzhou, guilin, shenzhen and will finish in hong kong for the dragon boat race. It is all doable in 3 weeks, no tour company, just some day tours..

People said traveling to China isn’t complete without visiting The Great Wall of China. It is also on my top list destination in China. I chose Mutianyu section is because it’s the longest and has the best views during spring time, also this section had just finished being restored. It may less crowded compare to Bedaling section tho but Mutianyu has more breathtaking views. I traveled with Mubus Mutianyu then go uphills by cable cars and downhills by toboggan. Definitely moment of a lifetime.
