The queue for entering the scenic spot is long. It is recommended to leave early. The scenic area is clean and tidy, and the facilities are well maintained. The only thing is the management of the downhill road slightly rigid, down the ropeway, walk down the mountain, see the greeting pine a few groups of tourists put together in line, at 4, 5 pm only one lane line, and the reverse even if no one is empty, artificial plugging.

The mountain dangerous road is high and low, the legs are not good advice, if there is physical strength, at least live on the mountain for one night, can see more than half of the attractions.
i was there on a rainy day, so it was all my fault i did not check the weather first. make sure you go there on a sunny day or a fair weather. make sure you book in a hotel that is near the bus station. they have their own bus station that goes to certain starting points. the earlier the better because i noticed that even if it was rainy and it was wednesday there were still so many people lining up to go there. do not bring your drone with you. they do no allow drones. they kept my drone in their office. when you reach the starting point (for me it started with Cinguage- i think i forgot) note: Take the cable car even if it is 90 rmb. it will save you time going up. Walking way up is not worth the climb. It took me around 5-6 hours reaching the top. by the way the entrance ticket is 190 rmb. the entrance for walking way up is different. i was walking my way up then suddenly there was a ticket check. i told them nobody asked me to purchase a ticket. they told me there is an office down. i was angry because i have to walk way down again to purchase the ticket from the office. they should not allow or open gates in the office if when you are already there on the top and they ask you for a ticket. what a waste of time. And yeah my journey going to the top started in the temple thingy maybe 930 am i forgot and i reached the top after 3pm... that was crazy walking way up. only very few, maybe less than 10 people were walking up. and i saw lots of people going down. So my suggestion for you is to take the cable car up and if you still have time you can go down walking and see some other spots. Going down walking by the way is 2.5 hours... cable car ride is just 15 minutes...
Yellow mountain (黄山) stays the best across all seasons, with always giving you an enthralling experience !! My visit during autumn (秋天)made me wander amidst the sea of clouds 🤩
A must do as a one day cable car adventure, or a two day camping weekend. Hike to the top of the mountain and enjoy the amazing views of Huangshan. Wander through the caverns and green walkways as you ascend and descend for that feeling of tranquility. Take lots of water.
amazing place to visit! hiking track isnt hard, but it is very steep (very safe) if you work out regularly then you are okay. The weather is good when we went there. clear sky little bit of foggy parts in the morning and bits of snow on tree branches and some part of the hiking path (you have to buy the shoes chain to help you hike easier and safer —- ask the guard guy on the mountain —- we got one guy asked us randomly if we wanna buy one and that was a great decision because it helps you hike a lot easier and much safer —- he sold it for 25 rmb each pairs and even helped us wearing it
Mount Huangshan is a fantastic scenic spot and I strongly recommend a visit there. You need to have some luck with the weather to be able to enjoy it fully. My fist visit was a cloudy story but at my second visit I was lucky and mount huangshan delivered a great experience.
amazing!! we went for one day total. we went up the eastern cable car at 7:30 am then hiked over to the western side for a few hours. we then went up the peak which was the most amazing part, then went down the western steps. very very sore the next few days but well worth it.
