Photos of Taiping Lake

Taiping Lake is located under the Huangshan Mountain. It is an artificial reservoir. The entire Taiping Lake is divided into five scenic spots: Gongsheng, Guangyang, Huangjing, Longmen and Sanmen. The islands in the lake are random and sporadic. If you want to visit the small islands in the lake, you have to take a boat at the Taiping Lake Tourist Terminal. If you enjoy adventure, you can visit the Sanmen scenic spot in the eastern part of the lake. In that section, the Taiping Lake narrows, twists and turns into a river course. It is called the "Little Three Gorges".
