The temple was newly built, but it has a lot of history. An old tree in front of the door proves that I miss the old incense. There was a Fa conference when it happened, so people would like you to see and study. You don't go against it, other people's, Buddhist etiquette, whatever.
Zhazang Temple, 15 kilometers west of Huangyuan County, was first built in the first year of Yankang in the Eastern Han Dynasty, 1700 years ago. It belongs to the Gelugpa monastery, and its full name is "Zhazanggadan Quke Temple", which means Chengyue Falun Temple. Zhazang Monastery is one of the thirteen largest monasteries in the Amdo region. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the incense of Zhazang Temple was the most prosperous, and Buddhist rituals flourished day by day. Especially for the annual meeting of the imperial ministers of the imperial court and the Mongolian princes to worship the sea. The scale of the temple is even bigger. However, just as there are many changes in the world, this pure land of the Buddha has also suffered three great catastrophes. The first was in the second year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty. When Nian Gengyao defeated Luobuzang Danjin in the second year of Qing Dynasty, he burned Zhazang Monastery. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, there was another ruthless fire that destroyed all the scriptures and was buried in the sea of fire along with precious cultural relics and historical books. During the ten-year catastrophe, many Buddha statues in the temple were destroyed.
Good place. A good place for leisure travel, fresh air and beautiful scenery.
The temple is surrounded by green mountains and green waters, with a wide view and beautiful.
